Parents:

  • During the school year, you will be able to access your student's class schedule through the "Parent Self-Serve" portal.
  • Need to set up your "Parent Self-Serve" account? CLICK FILE HERE to view a setup guide.

Students:

  • During the school year, if you forget your schedule you'll be able to look it up through the "Student Self-Serve" portal.
  • We highly recommend taking your paper copy and putting it somewhere you won't lose it, like the front of a binder, etc.

The window for requesting a course change for the 2025-2026 School Year is now CLOSED.

TIMELINE

  • 2/11 – TMS Virtual Parent Meeting (12pm-1pm) 
    • The link to join the meeting will be shared via ParentSquare
    • The slides from the meeting will be shared via ParentSquare and this website for those who are unable to attend
  • 2/17 – Current 7th Grade Course Selection Presentations (In-Class)
  • 2/18 – Current 6th Grade Course Selection Presentations (In-Class)
  • 2/19 – Current 5th Grade Course Selection Presentations @ MSE (In-Class)
  • 2/20 – Current 5th Grade Course Selection Presentations @ NPE (In-Class)
  • 2/26 – Parent Approval & Course Selection Edit Forms CLOSE & LOCK
    • All course selections will be locked in for 2026-2027 at this point
    • Students will have a brief window to request a change at the beginning of next year but changes are not guaranteed 
  • August 2026 – Student schedules will be available shortly before the school year begins

 

COURSE SELECTION PROCESS 

  1. Student Course Selections 
    • During in-class presentations, students will select their courses
    • They will complete a paper form noting their choices (a copy will be filed with TMS Counselors)
    • Students will bring home their paper copy for parents/guardians to review
  2. Parent/Guardian Verification
    • Please use the QR code on your child’s paper form to verify your child’s course selections for 2026-2027
      • The QR code will also be shared via Parent Square
    • If edits are needed, you can also use this form to change course selections as many times as needed until the form locks on 2/26 (the form will remain open and editable until then)
    • Changes to course selections can ONLY be made through the Parent/Guardian Form – students cannot change their selections
    • Once the form locks, no further changes can be made
    • If we do not receive a parent/guardian verification form, selections students made during in-class presentations will be used to build schedules (please be on the lookout for the paper forms and/or the ParentSquare notification during the week of in-class presentations to make sure you can view and approve choices before the deadline)

Thank you to any parents who were able to attend either our Virtual PGP Parent Meeting or the THS Navigate Your Future Parent Night! If you were unable to attend, please see below for relevant information and resources related to your 8th grader’s Personal Graduation Plan (PGP).

 

 

OVERVIEW

  • All students are required to have a 4-year academic plan on file before they enter 9th grade
  • The plan can be edited after students enter high school, but we must have a starting point for them that shows a path to graduation that prepares them for their next steps after high school
  • The plan will outline planned courses and a Program of Study that aligns to the students’ interests and goals

 

TIMELINE

  • 1/7 – TMS Virtual PGP Parent Meeting (12pm-1pm)
  • 1/8 – THS In-Person Navigate Your Future Night (6pm @ Taylor High School)
  • 1/8-1/12 – TMS Counselor Presentations In-Class with 8th graders
  • 1/13 – TMS 8th graders bring home *DRAFT* copies of their PGPs to discuss, review, and revise with parents/guardians
  • 1/20 – Individual PGP Meetings with TMS Counselors begin (please be patient while you wait for your turn, parents/guardians will be contacted for plan approval before finalization)
  • 2/18 – THS Counselors visit TMS to confirm 9th grade classes with students (chosen on PGPs)
