It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Amy Hale (Scott). I am a very enthusiastic teacher, and so excited to be starting my 4th year at Taylor Middle School teaching 8th grade ELAR.
I am first and foremost a mother, your child will become like one of my own throughout the school year. I have two children in high school...time slow down!!!
Adventure, exploration, discovery, and creativity are experiences I intend to provide my students with this year, so as to inspire a life long love for reading! I am sure my students will have a wonderful year, discovering talents and a new confidence that comes from learning, making new friends, and developing the great potential each child has within.
My philosophy is to provide an interesting, challenging, learning environment where my students will flourish socially and academically. They in turn can give their best effort in all they do at school. I believe that as a community ‘happily’ working together, teachers, parents and school staff can help our students accomplish their goals.
Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance the rain.
